TORRES CANDELEJO, Jony Michel  and  NARANJO NAVAS, Christian Paúl. Venezuelan migration in Riobamba: process of assimilation and adaptation of Venezuelan migrants to the city of Riobamba, Ecuador. ReHuSo [online]. 2019, vol.4, n.1, pp.47-68.  Epub Apr 01, 2019. ISSN 2550-6587.  https://doi.org/10.33936/rehuso.v4i1.1631.

This research work tries to study the impact of Venezuelan migration in the city of Riobamba, Ecuador. For this, it has been considered pertinent to focus on the socio-cultural aspect of Venezuelan migrants, emphasizing knowing if they have gone through the processes of adaptation through the contextual use of several theories of assimilation. Once the process of collecting data on Venezuelan migration was completed, it was determined that the vast majority of Venezuelan migrants have adapted to the cultural forms of the city.
