Psychosocial risks in the workplace can negatively affect the mental and physical health of workers, which can lead to problems of stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia and other psychological disorders, which could lead to a decrease in work engagement, of the commitment and motivation that employees have with their work. Given the above, the objective of the study was to analyze the relationship between work engagement and psychosocial risks in security guards of a private company during the year 2021, through the application of a survey, which allows the identification of opportunities for improvement. of the organization of work. The study had a quantitative approach, descriptive and correlational, cross-sectional, with a sample of 164 participants. The results showed that the highest psychosocial risk dimension scored at high risk was social support in the company and leadership quality. In conclusion, it has been shown in a statistically significant way that work engagement is related to psychosocial dimensions, including psychological demands and the development of skills at work.
