Daily exposure to industrial noise in the workplace can cause hearing impairments at various levels as a result, the objective of this research is to identify the incidence of hearing impairment in personnel exposed to industrial noise in a manufacturing company. a retrospective cohort study of an observational nature in which the results of audiometry, percentage of hearing loss (cd 513) and work seniority of 138 workers exposed to industrial noise in 2021 were analyzed, the results show predominance in demographic characteristics ; Male gender with 91.3%, age group 40 to 50 years old and a work exposure to industrial noise of 72.5% with more than 9 years in the job, a small percentage (2.9%) of the workers presented a slight hearing impairment when entering, while in the current audiometries, 11.6% of the workers presented mild hearing impairment, 1.4% moderate hearing impairment, and 0.7% advanced hearing impairment according to the modified klockhoff classification. It is concluded that there is a correlation between occupational exposure to industrial noise and hearing impairment; the longer the exposure time, the greater the effect, this being minimal in the studied population.
