Abstract

ZELADA FLOREZ, Edwin Andersson; LA CRUZ ARANGO, Oscar David; VICUNA URETA, Amílcar Máximo  and  AGUIRRE MACAVILCA, Martín Carlos. The new normality has generated structural changes in the way people think, feel and act. In this sense, higher education faces a global challenge, to the extent that the condition that makes it possible has been violated, that is, society and all its dimensions have experienced a crisis, among the most vulnerable sectors is the economy, health and education. In the last dimension, extraordinary measures were taken so as not to interrupt the continuity of the teaching-learning process; for this reason, virtual education was chosen; however, said election generated controversies due to the deficiency in its achievements. The present investigation proposes to explore the causes that have led to affirm that there is a crisis in the virtual university education of Peru, in order to be able to visualize the possible future perspectives. For this, the systemic review methodology was used, in order to identify the main postulates around the subject to be treated. Because of the above, it was possible to show that university education in Peru is directly affected by exogenous agents such as political and economic instability.
