MEDINA CRESPO, José Alberto. Research experience of the fundamentals for the virtualization of general studies subjects in university education. Revista San Gregorio [online]. 2022, vol.1, n.49, pp.163-175. ISSN 2528-7907.  https://doi.org/10.36097/rsan.v0i49.1778.

General studies in university education, as they are common in all careers, have led to problems of space to comply with the offer of these courses. These subjects provide knowledge and skills that complement professional training. Virtualization allows to complement or replace the presence in the teaching-learning processes, which allows the saving of resources and the adaptation in space - time of the needs of students and teachers according to the availability of technological tools that are currently part of the educational process. A descriptive research was developed for the critical support of the theoretical, methodological, and technological foundations that endorse the educational virtualization process for general studies in university education, as an option for the optimization of resources.
