Since March 2020, Peru like many countries, has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, which has caused a series of repercussions and education in the exception, being the main change in the migration of the in-person mode to it virtual modality. However, this obligatory educational reform entailed advantages and disadvantages for university students. For this reason, the objective of this investigation was to analyze the perception of Peruvian university students about virtual education during the COVID-19 pandemic. The focus of investigation was quantitative, the design was non-experimental and was the descriptive type. The museum was made up of 283 students who have applied the PAVDO-C Questionnaire, an instrument with adequate levels of reliability and validity. According to the results, the students are characterized by having a moderately favorable perception of virtual education and it was determined that some variables such as gender, age and their working condition were significantly associated with their perception of the aforementioned mode of education - learning. It was concluded that it is necessary to develop the technological and didactic skills of the teachers so that they can improve their pedagogical and teaching practices to be more effective.
