Abstract
CALDERON VELEZ, Angélica Lilibeth. The banks of the Carrizal river of Calceta as an integrating public space. Revista San Gregorio [online]. 2021, vol.1, n.48, pp.61-77. ISSN 2528-7907. https://doi.org/10.36097/rsan.v0i48.1731.
This research critically analyzes the public space on the banks of the Carrizal River in the city of Calceta within its urban limit in order to determine its urban quality and the level of social integration. For this, it is necessary to understand the riverside margins as a natural axis, articulator and generator of public space throughout its entire length of route, so it is essential to present concepts that will allow a better understanding of the relationship that public space has with its use, function and perception of it, and, therefore, understanding how public space is a determining factor in the quality of urban life and social integration. The methodology used is qualitative-quantitative, with various techniques for collection, classification and bibliographic analysis.
