The documentary research techniques were those that accompanied the development of this research. To obtain data on the current situation of amorphous, the questionnaire was applied as an instrument. The study shows that the main source of transmission of amorfino is the grandparents, who in their great majority have transferred the oral knowledge of this culture to the new generations. Amorfino has a high incidence in the construction of the Manabi cultural identity, there is evidence of greater empowerment of amorphous in teachers and in students it is considered that they do not recognize amorphous as part of their Manabi cultural identity.
