Neurodidactics grants and promotes strategies aimed at fostering the creative capacity of students, allowing them to understand how the brain works, adapts and organizes itself according to the teaching and learning processes; contemplating social, cognitive, affective aspects that need to forge lasting learning experiences. The present study aimed to specify the neurodidactic strategies used by teachers in the teaching-learning processes of the “Ángel Arteaga Cañarte” Basic Education School in the city of Santa Ana, Manabí province, Ecuador. The applied methodology had a qualitative-quantitative approach, descriptive, exploratory and bibliographic. The research was applied to teachers and students of the basic middle. The results obtained allowed us to identify that teachers use cognitive, sensory, motivational strategies in planning and execution that facilitate the development of learning experiences; however, limitations in its application were detected by a small group of teachers. It is concluded that in teaching-learning it is essential to take as references fundamentals from neurodidactics that favor the application of active and interactive strategies, strengthening the pedagogical practice of teachers and the ability of students to learn, improving training processes.
