In Ecuador, according to the Law of Popular and Solidarity Economy, micro-enterprises in rural parishes of Loja canton are organized to produce agro-artisanal products according to the requirements established by this control body, however, due to administrative and legal requirements, they lack management tools for organization, costing and compliance with tax obligations. The objective of this research was to analyze the effect generated by the link between academia, government and society, through the design of case studies in rural parishes in the province of Loja. The methodology used was exploratory-descriptive with a quantitative approach, using an interview and a semi-structured questionnaire for the design of the case studies for the eight associations. It was observed that empirical knowledge, age and personal interests limit their voluntary access to training, while the process of association and the obligatory nature of sanitary registrations limit the placement of their products in the market. The synergy between the three helixes (academia, government and society) makes it possible to generate added value in the associations.
