Resumen

ROMERO CHACIN, Jorge Luis; ROMERO PARRA, Rosario Mireya  y  BARBOZA ARENAS, Luis Andrés. Neuroscience-based instructional program to enhance learning in college students. Revista San Gregorio [online]. 2021, vol.1, n.46, pp.16-29. ISSN 2528-7907.  https://doi.org/10.36097/rsan.v1i46.1625.

Instruction as an essential component in society demands reflection on educational systems aimed at ingrained, official and inconsistent learning. The study was formalized with the objective of establishing an instructional program based on neuroscience to improve learning in students of the subject Statistics Applied to Psychology of the Psychology Career of the Continental University. The research has a quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of 74 students. An estimation scale with 20 items with 3 response alternatives each was designed and used. The results indicate variations in the structure of the learning indicators in the control group and in the experimental group, after the implementation of the neuroscience-based program, yielding high significant contrasts between them, since the t values computed are associated, in all aspects, to significance levels below 0.01. When the consequences of the implementation of the referred program were evaluated, it was proved that it has positive effects on all types of student learning, optimizing all teaching-learning actions.
