On the other hand, there are few studies that address this situation. The objective of the study was to identify the relationship between occupational stress and perceived work capacity in older teachers, 129 appointed teachers over 60 years were surveyed, the occupational stress questionnaire (CEO) was used, and the Perceived work capacity (CTP) questionnaire, both instruments were validated, their contents by five experts and reliability by Cronbach's alpha. The normality test was performed using Kolmogorov-Smirnov, obtaining a p <0.05, which shows that both variables do not have a normal distribution, using Spearman's Rho = -0.601 with a P value of 0.00 **. Conclusion: there is a moderate negative relationship between occupational stress and perceived work capacity in Peruvian teachers of advanced age.
