Micro and Small Enterprises (MYPES) promote inclusive economic growth in the world economy, in the same way in Peru. The role they play is very notable, since they create jobs and make possible the economic and social growth of any region, reducing poverty in its geographical and social environment. The objective of the research was to estimate the strategic planning indicators that influence the competitiveness of the MYPE sector, located in the province of Huaura. The methodology was descriptive and correlational. The population is 8,207 MYPES registered in the Association of Micro and Small Entrepreneurs of the Huaura Province in 2018. The sample size as a probabilistic estimate was 390 MYPES. A questionnaire was used to collect the required data, which was validated with a reliability of 0.93. The results according to the coefficient of the Spearman Rho test show a strong positive correlation r = 0.711, with a level of significance p = 0.000 <0.05.
