Abstract

CEDENO BRAVO, Andrea Paola  and  CHAVEZ CARRILLO, Ricardo Alex. Comparative analysis of ISTAS 21 and FPSICO tools in financial sector personnel. Revista San Gregorio [online]. 2020, n.39, pp.143-162. ISSN 2528-7907.  https://doi.org/10.36097/rsan.v1i39.1402.

There are demands and transformations in the workplace of the financial sector, caused by changes in technologies and in the organization of work, that generate psychosocial risks in workers, with deterioration in their well-being and that need to be evaluated. For the study, two internationally recognized tools were applied, these are: ISTAS 21 and FPSICO. The objective was to carry out a comparative analysis between the results of the application of the ISTAS 21 and FPSICO tools in a financial institution in the city of Portoviejo in Ecuador. It is a comparative cross-sectional study, with an observational descriptive design and a representative sample of men and women. As relevant results, the Supervision / Participation factor of the FPSICO tool was obtained, evaluated as very high risk with 42%; and the Double Presence factor of the ISTAS 21 tool, whose affectation is 20%. It is concluded that both instruments have an effective application in the evaluation of psychosocial risks and they complement each other, since there are risk factors that do not allow comparisons, as is the case of these mentioned factors.

Keywords : FPSICO; ISTAS 21; psychosocial risks; psychosocial risks and the financial sector.
