Today all professionals are exposed to new challenges due to the high competitiveness and the increasing demand for professionals who are highly prepared to face the pressures of their profession. The purpose of the study was to analyze the influence of social support on professional exhaustion in teachers in police educational institutions, Arequipa 2018. The research was carried out under an empirical-deductive approach, corresponding to a nonexperimental type of research, developed under a causal correlation design. The population is made up of teachers at the initial, primary and secondary levels of police schools. The technique used was the survey, in terms of the questionnaire aimed at social support and professional exhaustion aimed at teachers. It was concluded that social support influences the presence of professional exhaustion in 70.10% demonstrated through the coefficient of determination R2 = 0.701, that is, the variability of professional exhaustion is explained by the linear relationship of social support while 31.5% of the variability is explained by other factors.
