BRAVO VELEZ, Diana Asunción; COBACANGO VILLAVICENCIO, Lorena Mariana; CUETARA SANCHEZ, Leonardo Manuel  and  GARCIA RABELO, Margarita. Ecuador is a country with tradition in the cultivation of coffee, but its production has suffered a vertiginous fall in the last twenty years. The theoretical conception of the shared value chain model it is since coffee farmers can contribute with a more integrated view from the product perspective and market positioning, to the satisfaction of the needs of rural communities and incorporate the coffee production value chain. The objective of this article is to describe a conceptual scheme integration of the shared value chain consistent with the components of the coffee production chain, that allows to achieve harmonic interaction between the economic results of the business organization with the social results that characterize the well-being and quality of life of residents in rural cantons in the province of Manabí. For the development of the methodological proposal, a non-experimental documentary review has been made, in the right theoretical context. As a result of the investigation, the structure of a set of impact indicators and critical points is proposed, which allows the inclusion of social value in the value chain of coffee producing organizations and the expected benefit for members of rural communities in different coffee producing cantons in the province of Manabí.
