The world changes at an accelerated pace like never before, technological advances in recent decades have impacted all areas of life. The society, politics, ecology and economy of the countries have entered a dynamic that makes it difficult to understand the present and even more, to be able to predict the future. This document aims to identify the main megatrends and their possible impact on organizations based on a review and analysis of specialized literature. Organizations are obliged to visualize the future in order to identify possible opportunities and threats that allow them to redefine the course and adapt in a timely manner to an increasingly complex and dynamic context. As a result of the analysis, five megatrends have been identified, briefly describing their characteristics, hoping that they serve as a reference when preparing a strategic plan or a business model by entrepreneurs or young entrepreneurs, considering them in the construction of possible scenarios as an input for the generation of a value proposal to the client and making sure that it is relevant.
