The objective of this study was to analyze the interdisciplinary approach declared in the design of the curriculum project of the career of initial education of the University of San Gregorio of Portoviejo, which was implemented by a means of research called project integrating knowledge in the educational contexts of initial level defined for the practice to pre professional. In the framework of the investigation - action, developed a documentary analysis, observation tools applied in the scenarios of learning and a record of the scope of learning outcomes before, during and post practice to pre professional. It was defined as the methodology of systematization, the circle of studies for the academic debate and inter learning of the teachers involved. Participation of four teachers of five subjects, 23 students and 15 scenarios for practices. It was concluded that the project integrating knowledge evolved from the practical pre professionals are tracks ideal and synergistic contributing to the management aúlica teachers for landing the interdisciplinary approach that preaches the curricular design. The effectiveness of the approach mentioned above depends on the opening epistemic, flexibility, assertiveness and creativity of those who gestated the curriculum with relevant processes, oriented to the management of the academic quality university education for the initial training of teachers.
