The term innovation has become a reference for all the speeches of managerial and academic entrepreneurs, it is also present totally or partially in brands of signatures, products or services and has traditionally been associated inventions, and patents, or the so-called hard technology, therefore a divorce has been handled with soft technology or soft technology; hence, the purpose of this essay is to discuss the concept of innovation, seeking its true multilateral and broad dimension with its component of creativity and its impacts of new applied knowledge, not only economic, but social or environmental. The different concepts that are presented in this material, give a greater understanding of the innovative process and allow us to travel along the transformative path demanded by today’s society. another aspect no less important in this reflection is the relationship of many terms including technology, technological development, transfer and prospective to mention some of them that make up a system to achieve enter the management of technology and innovation that is really what that achieves that an organization, be it public or private, of manufacture or service, travels along the path of innovation
