Whenever the issue of homosexuality is addressed, there are categories such as: sexuality, sexual orientation, sexual identity, gender identity, minorities, GLBTI communities, discrimination, homophobia, laws, policies and sexual rights, among others, some of which will be addressed in this study, although it is not the intention of the same one to return to precise them, but to analyze and to relate the sexuality and with her the homosexuality, with the different theories about the culture; specifically, of the old meanings of culture, seen from the main theoretical referents that have defined the term culture in their time.
