Abstract

BORROTO CRUZ, Eugenio Radamés; DUENAS ESPINOZA, Francisco Xavier  and  REYNA GARCIA, Adrián Eliceo. IDENTIFICATION OF NEEDS IN RESEARCH COMPETENCES AS A TOOL FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF TRAINING PLANS. Revista San Gregorio [online]. 2018, vol.1, n.24, pp.34-43. ISSN 2528-7907.

One of the three substantive functions for university work is research, a teacher’s own activity in which he must have and master certain skills that help develop the research process. On many occasions, teachers focus on insufficient development. It is proposed the identification of the needs of the training for the development of the investigative competences from the analysis of the perception that the teachers of the San Gregorio de Portoviejo University have in terms of the level of preparation and the relevance of the specific topics for the Fines research process to implement training plans for their improvement. A questionnaire is set up with 15 competences resulting from the bibliographic review and according to the criterion of expert in the practice of research. The data reveal that the analysis of the qualitative data and the design and selection of the samples, are the competences and the interventions as part of a training plan on the effect.

Keywords : Perception of investigative competences; Identification of training needs; training plan.
