Abstract

SALVADOR MORENO, Janeth Elizabeth. PSYCHOSOCIAL RISKS OF THE MANTA AIRPORT SECTOR. Revista San Gregorio [online]. 2018, vol.1, n.22, pp.30-39. ISSN 2528-7907.

This study analyzes the psychosocial and risk factors that affect the airport sector of the city of Manta in Ecuador, whose objective is to identify them through the application of a measurement tool designed for this purpose, covering the entire staff in the areas: administrative, operational and service, who, by their direct relationship with users, affect the safety of air operations for situations that cause lack of concentration, apathy, irritability among others. The applied methodology consists of the collection of information through the surveys established in the method PSYCHOSOCIAL FACTORS (FPSICO) of the National Institute of Safety and Hygiene at Work (INSHT). It was detected that the highest risk levels were focused on the parameters related to the participation and supervision of the workers in their labor procedures, as well as on their perception of the Interest / Compensation that the entity provides them, and the Psychological Demand that their activity generates them. This work is a viable alternative to apply in the different national airports, since its cost is reduced and it provides precise values of measurement.
