The objective is to identify the emotional state of teachers as conjunctures positions in the university context, in order to generate intervention processes that contribute to improve their responses. The research is conclusive descriptive of individual transverse sample design. It was considered a professors random sample of the Department of Economic, Administrative and Commerce Sciences of the University of the Armed Forces ESPE. The professors’ emotional profiles were identified based on the test proposed by Marcelo Manucci, adapted to the university environment. In addition, questions were implemented to observe the causalities and the proposed solutions from the professors look. The results showed that this group perceives a stimulating context for its growth. To which they express an optimistic attitude to the opportunities. However, their answers are based on maintaining their stability and comfort without facing the challenges. Therefore, it may be concluded that show a conformity emotional state to front today’s demands of the institutional environment and the higher education system of the country.
