Abstract

BAUTISTA ROJAS, Enrique. WHAT IS SEEN, YES IS JUDGED: PERCEPTIONS AND VIOLENCE AGAINST THE SEXUAL DIVERSITY IN MEXICO. Revista San Gregorio [online]. 2017, vol.1, n.17, pp.96-103. ISSN 2528-7907.

The research examines perceptions of homophobic and violence acts against homosexuals in Mexico. This is done from the consultation of statistical data from national and international institutions on this reality in the country as sustenance for the argumentation, with formative and non-quantitative intentions. The arguments take as a position categories arisen from the studies of the sexual diversity and of the feminism. As conclusion, it seeks to encourage reflection on the importance of problematize the social and cultural constructs that underpin the perceptions.
