Abstract

ALBAN, Víctor Daniel Cabezas  and  PAREDES AULESTIA, Valentina Lucio. Corruption in 3D: A Radiography of its Components. E&c [online]. 2020, vol.1, n.10, pp.37-51. ISSN 2477-9245.  https://doi.org/10.37228/estado_comunes.v1.n10.2020.148.

The following article analyzes the complex phenomenon of corruption based on an extrapolation of the elements of the triangle of violence theory, proposed by the Norwegian sociologist Johan Galtung. Using these elements developed within the conflict resolution theory to explain the origin of violence and its manifestations, allows us to understand the institutional and legal roots of corruption. Through a bibliographic review that points to the characterization of corruption through Galtung's theory, the authors also seek to understand those elements that characterize three-dimensional corruption: direct, structural and cultural corruption.

Keywords : corruption; public policy; violence; political culture; law; government.
