Abstract

DE GATICA, Alejandra  and  POGRE, Paula. Neoliberalism and education: continuities and ruptures in educational policies in Argentina. E&c [online]. 2018, vol.1, n.6, pp.99-113. ISSN 2477-9245.  https://doi.org/10.37228/estado_comunes.v1.n6.2018.71.

The current situation challenges our political and intellectual creativity given the establishment of a new neoliberal order. We wonder how to analyze this new neoliberal rush? How to analyze micropolitics and also neoliberal macro policies as constructive devices of subjectivation? And mainly his camouflaged marriage with rhetoric opposed to neoliberal principles. Based on this analysis, the present work is organized around the reflection of two aspects: the discourses and the rhetoric of the current neoliberalism in educational matters and the restructuring of the role of the State from the emptying of certain programs of the Ministry of Education and Sports and the presentation of new policies and programs in Argentina today.

Keywords : neoliberalism; education; macropolitics; dismantling of the State; micropolitics; commodified education.
