The article analyzes the increasing parliamentary participation in the International System, in particular in the processes of regionalism of South America. In order to do so, it takes as its basis the theories of Globalization and Governance based on proposals that suggest the emergence of new actors in the International System, their roles and their implications for governance, in this context review the participation of national parliaments of South America in the processes of integration and regionalism and how it has been carried out.
