Resumen
FERNANDEZ, Eva Natalia. Virtual territories and relocated locations: “Forensic architecture” as an experience of the reorganization of contemporary musealities. Índex [online]. 2022, n.14, pp.66-78. ISSN 2477-9199. https://doi.org/10.26807/cav.v7i14.491.
Cultural sites such as museums, biennials and cultural centers, have become the platform for laying down operational and management keys for some cultural policies. The space of virtuality is the stage for the re-territorialization of art based on the new identity struggles, open to democratization of ideas where subjects (artists, curators and audiences), works and ideas fluctuate. This work is has three parts: first, where the category of cultural location is exposed, making a description of its enunciative possibilities based on spatiality; a second one in which the case study is described: the virtual exhibition "Forensic Architecture" -in the University Museum of Contemporary Art of the UNAM- as an exhibition located in a different museum platform; and a third part in which some closing notes are made, linking and analyzing how these museum territories work as expanded and relocated platforms.
