Abstract: The exhibition The multiple and the unique. Expanding Photography brings together a series of projects that explore the capabilities of photography as an expanding medium. The works of Carolina Magnin, Lorena Fernández, Martín Bollati, Lucía Von Sprecher, Lisa Giménez, Estefanía Landesmann, Lucía Peluffo, Inmensidades, Hernán Kacew y Natacha Ebers investigate the different aspects and possibilities of the medium, based on research that relates photography to different materials and media. All these researches, linked to each other through different degrees of connection or conflict, propose a situation of critical disassembly that evidences the constitutive tension of the medium, between the multiple and the unique.
