This article is shown as a compilation of interpretive texts that have accompanied artistic processes carried out by Juan Carlos León Jácome during 2020-2022 which have been exhibited in Mexico (Mexico City) and Ecuador (Cuenca and Quito). Dispel, Doppler and Colonizar el Fin, are projects framed within material explorations and transitions both, at a geographical and emotional-personal level, experienced by the artist, aiming to propose a new perspective in the use of healing substances, rites and stars in his work.
