Abstract

ROCHA, Susan. EVERY DAY ARCHEOLOGY, ILOWASKY GANCHALA. Índex [online]. 2021, n.11, pp.178-196. ISSN 2477-9199.  https://doi.org/10.26807/cav.vi11.406.

It analyzes the relationship between Ilowasky Ganchala's plastic proposal in his Dayli´s archaeology series with the ideas of the avant-garde writer Pablo Palacio. This is part of a broader process of reflection where each object takes on a meaning thanks to its relationship with other objects within a specific context: an old building, a workshop, a bathroom, a kitchen. It is a work that is dedicated to the study of the material culture of the past and is often constructed through the visual articulation of fragments, and it makes us wonder about the subject-object relationship.

Keywords : painting; Ilowasky Ganchala; Pablo Palacio; Dayli´s archaeology.
