The following text reviews thecentennial anniversary publication of Escuela Nacional Superior Autónoma de BellasArtes del Perú (1918-2018). The book was edited by Pablo Cruz and compiles seven sections. A recapitulation of the volumeallows a comprehensive examination of several historical moments regardingthe fine arts in the Peruvian context. Therefore, some names and artistic movements are identified as surmountinfluence forPeru’s modern art and its correlation with the fine arts field, art educationmodels and the establishmentof a national art.
