The search of this essay establishes a chronological timeline to get to know the influence of the visual and narrative models from the beginning of comic. pointing out that north american comic establishes an alienated vision of latin america, observing authors and analogies that can contrast these influences from technique to format. To conclude on Ecuador the cultural identities of their characters and the strategies from independent comics on Quito, their reflections and contemporary attributes.
