Abstract

MARISCAL, Tomás Villegas. ESSAY ON THE ANALYSIS OF THE PROBLEM OF THE END OF ART IN G.W.F. HEGEL AND ARTHUR C. DANTO. Índex [online]. 2020, n.10, pp.93-104. ISSN 2477-9199.  https://doi.org/10.26807/cav.vi10.368.

The objective of this work is the study of the problem of the end of art in G.W. F. Hegel and Arthur C, Danto. Its central hypothesis is that, based on the analysis of the aesthetic philosophy of both authors, art has entered, in the present time, in a scenario where there is no definitive criterion to say what a work of art is or is not. In this sense, everything can be considered a work of art.

Keywords : Aesthetics; Art; Philosophy.
