Abstract

VINDAS-VILLARREAL, Bryan. Visual dramaturgy or a transdisciplinary cartography. Índex [online]. 2019, n.7, pp.130-135. ISSN 2477-9199.  https://doi.org/10.26807/cav.v0i07.176.

Visual dramaturgy or an interdisciplinary mapping, it is an article that explores the boundaries between different disciplinary areas of arts, looking to develop strategies to connect languages, codes, tools and records, in function of a research project/creation. The process of writing for this article, emerges based on a concrete need: go beyond a dramaturgy that used to be governed by its textual statements.Based on this premise, this investigation has been taken as a journey, a drift that allows to transcend frontiers looking for a way to incorporate a visual effect in a theatrical text, this emanates from components just as documentary photography, illustration, the art-subject, public areas and others; stated briefly: a symbiosis to fertilize the visual universe of contemporary dramaturgy. Finally, this article proposes the construction of creative synergies, for both the performing artist and the visual artist.

Keywords : Visual dramaturgy; Transdisciplinarity; Mapping; Theather.
