This article will approach some theoretical principles of digital media’s characteristics for the development of pedagogical processes of art creation and analysis. The aim is to generate tools for students, teachers and art professionals for analyzing and creatively exploring the changes in art and cultural production related to digital reproduction. Digital theory concepts by Lev Manovich, Mark Deuze and Ian Hutchby will be tackled relating them and complementing them with art theory. The idea is to establish common grounds that would allow artists from different disciplines to approach, read and generate creative processes from a critic understanding of a chosen media.
