Abstract

In the present work we will analyze some experiences of artistic education upon adolescents deprived of their freedom. Under existing laws, measures restricting freedom of movement should not affect the enjoyment of other rights, such as the right to education. In this sense, our intention is to analyze two experiences of artistic education carried out in confinement contexts, with the aim of interpreting how the deployment of a teaching from aesthetics can be promoted as a way of subjectivation towards the people involved. We will see if it contributes to the establishment of a pedagogical space, disruptive of the logics of confinement and stigmatization. Our approach is based on some theoretical elaborations of the philosopher Jacques Ranciere, related with the equal transmission of knowledge, politics and emancipation.
