Abstract

GALLARDO-HERNANDEZ, María Fernanda. Kamiñante, CAlderÓN-CazÓN: A nomadic methodology. Índex [online]. 2018, n.5, pp.120-129. ISSN 2477-9199.  https://doi.org/10.26807/cav.v0i04.123.

Through the case study “Kamiñante (KÑT)”, a Latin American contemporary artistic project conceived by the Ecuadorian collective “papelito no más es” (2014-2015), I intend to showcase the nomadic methodology that we developed and that made the conceptual and material existence of this work possible. The intention of this work is to show creative possibilities and abilities when practicing walking art, which is also formed by other artistic languages. For this, I will examine my own reflexive digressions in order to distinguish and highlight elements that contribute to the debate on contemporary art in this region. Far from clarifying or leading to something conclusive, I intend to activate old/new questionings surrounding the methodology and artistic processes. KÑT is a contribution we are willing to share in this context.

Keywords : walking art; infraordinay; artistic intention; creative processes; nomadic methodology..
