Abstract

Joseph Beuys is one of the most influential artists in contemporary world, his ideas and proposals have not yet been completely understood, many of them are transgressive nowadays, specially his polemic statement that "everyone is an artist." Beuys not only faces the artistic work, he understands art as something much deeper and more complex, as an energy that moves the world and as what happens to many energies in Western thought, his misunderstood and valued only from his appearance and superficiality.
