Tangible memories of Tulipe (METATU) is a research that uses mechanism of the art participative practices, that intends to look and interpret a complex “field" of interaction of the North West of Pichincha, set by the ancient population called Yumbos and for the clay outcrop on the board roads. Where the interest for the symbolic capital is divided and each actor struggles for his participation in the construction of the "sense". The Developmental State, the Patrimonial State, the Church and the settlers with their senses are the actors know a days. The settlers’ sight, which is the one that relates to the space daily, is prioritized over other possible sights and its subjectivities are built in a relationship not always understood. The research raises a "ground" of visual culture that is multiple and antagonistic, crossed by the “sight” of the different stage of power:, that clear the image of a " landscape" that carries centuries of interaction of human being with the vulnerable nature.
