ZAMBRANO UNDA, H. Marcelo. Research in art - the connection between art and science, an introduction. Índex [online]. 2016, n.1, pp.110-116. ISSN 2477-9199.

Generate knowledge, is not only a common practice of science, art with its construction, has been contributing to sustainable development and sensible ideas of human beings. Art and science have led knowledge from different spaces, establishing spaces for dialogue, and others indifferent, with long separations, creating boundaries that away from one another. At present, they are separated without prior knowledge when initially out of a same matrix: techné. If their practices were highly related, why today these same practices exclude them, they separate them and place them in opposite positions. This text presents the adverse conditions that have faced and coincidences that are as antagonists within the same story.

Keywords : artistic investigation; science; art; techné.
