Abstract

REINOSO RECALDE, Mónica  and  SANTANDER, Gabriela. La presencia del cuerpo ausente en las tensiones entre lenguajes. La temporalidad vivida en el espacio en la obra “Comunicaciones” de Margarita Paksa. Índex [online]. 2016, n.1, pp.88-94. ISSN 2477-9199.  https://doi.org/10.26807/cav.v0i01.22.

The purpose of this work was to study how the artistic languages relation allows creating different possible realities in “Comunicaciones”, an installation made by the artist Margarita Paksa. From a creative act of perception, the artist uses evidences and the game of opposite things to configure a space and temporally installation, which in the end is a non-finished process.

There are three main moments in Margarita Paksa´s work: the production, the exhibition and the perception. These moments involve the problem of how the temporality makes processes. Paksa’s work also refers to some 60’s artistic manifestations in Argentina, where people used art to access to another fields with just one only objective: communicate.

Paksa exposes something virtual and its possibility of becoming real. The artist shows us something present using the absence, she shows us one absent body using both: visual language and sounds.

Keywords : Body; aesthetic experience; conceptualism; installation; languages.
