This document aims to analyze the Social Infrastructure Fund for Entities, a tool used by the Mexican Government to reduce extreme poverty and social backwardness, through the construction of basic social infrastructure. Subsequently, based on socioeconomic indicators collected between 2010 and 2020, the problem was analyzed based on the Logical Framework Approach, the only one accepted for the design of public policies in Mexico, proposing adjustments to the fund, as well as the competences of each of the levels of government involved, must apply in order to improve the impact on the indicators. The periodicity of the distribution of the resources, the publication of the legal framework in a clear and timely manner, professionalization and innovation, as well as accountability, are desirable in the management of the fund.
