Currently, packaging is one of the most significant marketing tools because beyond protecting and making the product functional, it becomes a psychological-sensory attraction on perceptual consumer process, which is the reason of food industry analyzes the influence in order to improve its development and management. The investigation aims to determine the effect that packaging has on the sensory taste perceptions of Centennials consumers, a quasi-experimental design is applied, where the same dark chocolate is wrapped in different styles of packaging and then it is delivered to several experimental groups. Their responses are statistically analyzed through ANOVA, Chi Square test and Spearman's correlation tests. As result, the packaging has an effect on the sensory taste perceptions of the Centennials. This effect is a different taste perception of premium packaging chocolate wrapped which is tested like more pleasant than standard packaging chocolate wrapped.
