For this purpose, a combined methodology was adapted, starting from the Solanda Plan and based on the comparison of physical and functional characteristics of several social housing projects developed in Latin America since modernity, and supported by the analysis of literature review, thus allowing to understand the importance of citizen participation and showing how people and their way of living are the ones who personalize the spaces.
