Updated information has been revised and is presented on heteropteran (Miridae) predators with potential in biolo- gical control of whiteflies, Macrolophus pygmaeus Rambur (formerly M. caliginosus Wagner), and mostly on Tupiocoris cucurbitaceus (Spinola), which has been observed preying on the whitefly Trialeurodes vaporariorum (Westwood) (Tria- leurodidae) on tobacco plants and greenhouse tomato in the Metropolitan region, central Chile.
