Abstract

BENAVIDES, José Luis et al. Use of CAD for a copper grinding identification system. Maskay [online]. 2019, vol.9, n.2, pp.41-50. ISSN 1390-6712.  https://doi.org/10.24133/maskay.v9i2.1111.

Ecuador currently proposes a productive matrix based not only on the extraction of oil but also on the exploitation of some minerals. As the mining of copper, a sector with many needs to solve, one of them is the control of weight at the exit of the same. In such a reason in the University National of Loja built a prototype a scale of laboratory for trituration copper, the mathematical model of the same one was identified, employing two methodologies for the identification one based on CADCS (Computer Aided designed and control systems) and the other in Ident (identification system) that owns the MATLAB® software, in order to optimize this process. Next, was presented four algorithms that allowed to control in a simulation the process of crushing and that are: PID, Smith Predictor and then the results of the most relevant parameter was presented in a table. Finally, the best algorithm of control selected it was implemented with the help of Arduino.

Keywords : CADCS; Identification Systems; Predictor Smith; PID Control.
