CHALA MOSQUERA, Katherine Iveth y MERCEDES PENAFIEL BARBA, Daysi. International Climate Change Regime: Construction of Common Interests in the Yasuní ITT Initiative and its Link with Indigenous Peoples. Letras Verdes [online]. 2020, n.27, pp.31-50. ISSN 1390-6631. https://doi.org/10.17141/letrasverdes.27.2020.4157.
This article aims to understand the main reasons that limited the construction of common interests around the Yasuní ITT Initiative and its link with indigenous peoples. The problem is explained from the discipline of International Relations, with projection in the International Regime of Climate Change, an orientation that has been scarcely addressed. Consequently, it is intended to contribute to the academic debate generated so far. A qualitative methodology, through a singular case study method, is used. Among the findings, it stands out that both the Regime and the Initiative presented setbacks; the latter, especially in the applicability.
