Abstract

MOLINA ARAUJO, María José. Automation control system of the blisters machine packaging. Rev Politéc. (Quito) [online]. 2018, vol.41, n.1, pp.25-28. ISSN 2477-8990.

This paper presents the automation of the blister packaging system in a pharmaceutical company. Where it was migrated from Programmable Logic Controller with Ethernet port for communication between devices, its high-speed inputs and outputs control an encoder and stepper motor for blister dosing, a graphic interface was configured that allows the user to interact with the variables in Real time through the HMI and through the web server you can control the machine remotely. The packaging process was optimized with the reduction of time, making it possible for the machine to pack 20 boxes per minute, which for the trained personnel is very complex to do manually.

Keywords : Automation; blister; control; process; PLC.
