En el artículo se realiza un análisis del proceso de desarrollo dialéctico del pensamiento medieval, considerando para el mismo las tesis de las anomalías, la crisis paradigmática y el método histórico. Se desarrolla un estudio histórico- filosófico de las diferentes contradicciones teóricas que aparecieron en momentos específicos del pensamiento medieval tanto en el mundo cristiano como en el mundo musulmán y que configurarían las bases sobre las cuales se levantaría el edificio del pensamiento moderno a manera de continuación y ruptura con la tradición teórica y filosófica anterior.

The paper study the process of dialectical development of medieval thought, considering the anomalies, the paradigmatic crisis and the historical method. Makes an historical-philosophical study of the different theoretical contradictions that appeared in specific moments of medieval thought in the Christian world as well as in the Muslim world and that would configure the bases of the modern thought would arise as a continuation and rupture with the previous theoretical and philosophical tradition.
